We carefully selected the ingredients in our Belly Oil.
Natalist Belly Oil is formulated with antioxidant-rich, nourishing ingredients like organic argan oil, shea butter, coconut oil, and olive fruit oil.
Keeping skin moisturized while stretching is key to reducing existing stretch marks.
We believe stretch marks, from pregnancy stretch marks or other stretch marks, are beautiful reminders of growing a human that don’t need to be reduced. However, if you’re curious, there is some evidence that a natural ingredient like argan oil and emollient can have an impact on existing stretch marks. Keeping the skin moisturized while stretching is key to reducing visible marks on the skin.
We call it Belly Oil, but you can use it all over.
Skin is your largest organ; try this dry oil on other places like your thighs, legs, hips, arms, and chest. Ready to be used for a self-care night or an at-home prenatal massage, our belly oil is perfect for any pregnant mom in need of extra TLC!
Unlike other beauty products, our Belly Oil and Cooling Cream are both paraben free and phthalate free.
Parabens and phthalates are endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs)—chemicals that can interfere with the endocrine system. When inside the body, parabens can mimic estrogen. Using stretch mark creams with parabens during pregnancy can be a potential source of paraben exposure to the pregnant person and the fetus. Because of this, the European Union (and now California!) have banned parabens in cosmetic and beauty products. Along with parabens, too much prenatal exposure of other endocrine-disrupting chemicals like phthalates has been linked to childhood behavior challenges and even spontaneous pregnancy loss. Research is still emerging, but we've opted to make our products without these potentially harmful ingredients.
Both our Belly Oil and Cooling Cream are made without sulfates and petroleum and are free of dyes, making them ideal for sensitive skin.
Our Belly Oil and Cooling Cream are made to pamper your pregnant friends, relatives, or any other expectant moms in your life, without worrying about harsh or irritating ingredients—that’s why we've avoided these ingredients altogether.
We love animals; our Belly Oil and Cooling Cream are vegan and certified cruelty free.
Neither our Belly Oil nor our Cooling Cream is tested on animals. The Belly Oil and Cooling Cream are both Leaping Bunny Certified, the gold-standard in cruelty-free certification.
Our Cooling Cream is carefully formulated with high-quality ingredients that are safe for pregnant mama and her new baby.
Our formula includes natural remedies like organic aloe vera leaf juice, peppermint leaf oil, argan oil and coconut oil. It also consists of easily absorbable, nutrient-rich, and powerful moisturizers such as rich fatty acids, shea butter, vitamin B, and vitamin E. Plus, the ingredients used in our Cooling Cream are safe for you and your baby.
Cooling Cream is great for relieving discomfort surrounding puffy and aching feet, swollen ankles, and legs.
Our rapid Cooling Cream for swollen feet is packed with a powerful ingredients like peppermint extract to reduce swelling and inflammation in the affected area. Its formulation helps to revitalize swollen pregnancy feet, ankles, and legs.
Our Cooling Cream absorbs into the skin easily without a greasy feeling.
Natalist Cooling Cream is packed with a powerful combination of ingredients such as coconut oil and shea butter which not only absorb easily into the skin due to their fatty acid ingredient content, but penetrate deep into the barrier and heal from the inside with their antioxidant properties. Keep your skin hydrated and supple all day without worrying about constant reapplication!
Nausea and vomiting of pregnancy (NVP) affects up to 90% of pregnant women.
Nausea and vomiting of pregnancy (NVP) rank high among the most common complaints during pregnancy, with pregnancy symptoms generally starting around four to nine weeks of gestation, peaking around the seventh to 12th week, and subsiding by the 16th week.
Nausea Relief Tea is made with ingredients shown to be safe and effective.
Various preclinical and clinical studies have evaluated ginger as an effective and safe natural remedy for nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. A small, double-blind randomized cross-over trial showed powdered root of fresh ginger was better than a placebo in diminishing or eliminating the symptoms of morning sickness. A systematic review showed fresh ginger could be considered a harmless and possibly effective alternative option for women suffering from the symptoms of severe nausea and vomiting in pregnancy.
Peppermint has supportive evidence for use for indigestion and irritable bowel syndrome, and peppermint tea specifically may reduce postprandial nausea. Another study concluded that use of peppermint tea is effective in relieving GERD Grade 1 (NERD) during pregnancy.
The FDA classifies both peppermint and ginger as “Generally Recognized as Safe.”
Ginger is widely recommended by doctors for pregnant women.
In one study, 50 physicians were asked if they recommend ginger herbal therapy for pregnant women with NVP. 62% of them responded by quite often, and the remaining 38% responded by sometimes.
Discuss your diet and supplement routine with your doctor.
There’s a lot of junk science out there, and products being sold with grand promises for pregnant women, but little or no data to back it up. We try to be very clear about who would benefit most from our products, from pregnancy tea to postpartum gift boxes and pregnancy tests, but it’s also important to discuss your diet and supplement routine with your doctor who can give further guidance that is specific to your maternity journey.
