Sarah Rueven
Professional Experience
Sarah Rueven, RD, MS, CDN, is a New York City-based Registered Dietitian and founder of Rooted Wellness. She received her undergraduate degree at Brandeis University, where she studied History and Education Studies. Like many of her clients, Sarah struggled with her weight and body image as a young adult. She made the conscious choice to turn things around, and began to educate herself about nutrition and wellness. As Sarah enjoyed the effects of all the healthy changes she was implementing, living a balanced and healthy life developed into a true passion. Having seen “the light”, Sarah wanted to find a way to share it with others.
Sarah is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Greater New York Dietetics Association, the Women's Health Practice Group and the Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group. She is a founding advisory board member of Robyn, a maternal wellness resource.
